Abstract
The treatment of secondary hypogonadism in women will depend on whether the goal is hormone replacement or ovulation induction. In hormone replacement, estrogen and progestogen preparations, administered orally or through skin patches, can be used. For ovulation induction, gonadotropin therapy should be given for several months, or pulsatile GnRH administration can be used if the deficiency is hypothalamic.
