Abstract

BackgroundResoluble questions are estimated to mostly be resolved. Consequently, most of the remaining questions are those for which one has given up in looking for solutions; this may currently be the biggest problem for biological research. Therefore, for the continued advancement of biological sciences, it will be necessary to integrate current biological research with other fields, including chemistry, physics, robotics, material sciences, computer sciences, and mathematics.HighlightIntegrated research will provide new insights into basic biology, as well as new technological outputs.ConclusionThe newly emerging field of biodental engineering is one such example of integrated research with tremendous potential for facilitating future dental science research.
