Abstract
⺠Bone parameters for age for Indian girls from 2 socio-economic strata (SES) are described. ⺠Bone parameters for Tanner stage for Indian girls from 2 SES are described. ⺠Lower SES girls had significantly lower bone parameters. ⺠The difference in bone parameters between strata increased during pubertal years. ⺠Pubertal years may provide opportunity to promote bone health in lower SES girls.
