Abstract
A new method for computing the system matrices G and H of the three-dimensional boundary element method is presented for the elastostatic problems of general anisotropy. Green’s functions, expressed by the line integrals over a semi-circle, have a simple structure that allows analytical integration over the boundary elements. The computation for the system matrices G and H is reduced to numerical integration of regular line integrals over the unit semi-circle. The proposed method has been implemented and tested with numerical examples.
