Abstract
The relationship between fasting glucose (FG) variability and nocturnal hypoglycemia was assessed using longitudinal data from PREDICTIVE™, the large-scale observational study of insulin detemir. An HbA1c-corrected correlation was found between these endpoints, suggesting FG variability can serve as a useful marker for this risk in clinical practice.
