Abstract
⺠We examine the cardiovascular actions of bradykinin (BK) in elasmobranchs. ⺠We demonstrate an in vivo vasopressor response to homologous BK in the little skate. ⺠We demonstrate non-responsiveness to mammalian derived antagonists and agonists. ⺠We examined the role of potential cellular mediators of the response in vitro. ⺠We found that multiple pathways may be involved in mediating the BK response.
