Abstract
1) In women with myomas measuring 3-5Â cm, statistically significant differences were found in the absence of sexual desire (PÂ <Â .01) and in vaginal dryness (PÂ <Â .05). 2) In myomas measuring > 5Â cm, statistically significant differences were found in the absence of sexual intercourse (PÂ =Â .02), in increased size of the myoma at 1 year (PÂ <Â .001) and in chronic pelvic pain (PÂ =Â .02).
