Abstract
A total of 42.28% of infections and lesions occurred in the second phase of the menstrual cycle and 35.11% in the first phase. When all the infections were grouped together, a peak incidence was noted in August. The same peak was found in the most prevalent infections (bacterial vaginosis and Candidas) and in cytological lesions.
