Abstract
⺠Jpk induced E. coli cell death upon expression. ⺠N-term half of Jpk (AA 1-90) was more toxic than C-term in aerobic condition. ⺠Jpk-induced bacterial cell death was mediated through the ROS. ⺠DTT, an antioxidant, rescued the bacterial cells expressing Jpk.
