Abstract
⺠The rats model of POF is successfully established by injected intraperitoneally with CTX. ⺠Our study indicates that CR can increase the ovarian follicular reserve and reduce the CTX-induced ovarian damage. ⺠The CR effect in increasing follicular reserve may be due to its intervention in the transition from primordial to primary follicle. ⺠CR can significantly increase the expression of SIRT1 in rats ovary. ⺠Our results suggests that the CR protective effects may be induced through SIRT1-p53 pathway.
