Abstract
⺠Study reports two ALF isoforms from P. pelagicus and S. tranquebarica. ⺠StALF is the first report of an ALF from S. tranquebarica. ⺠The mature peptide had a predicted MW of 11.2 kDa and theoretical pI of 10.0. ⺠Mature peptide possess highly conserved cysteine residues and LPS binding domain. ⺠Phylogenetic analysis showed similar evolutionary status for PpALF2 and StALF.
