Abstract
⺠We generated a novel transgenic mouse line with over-expression of CARP in the brain. ⺠We demonstrate high amounts of transgenic CARP mRNA in the hippocampus. ⺠We tested these mice in a Pavlovian fear conditioning paradigm. ⺠Hippocampal CARP over-expression increases freezing behavior during memory testing.
