Abstract
This paper provides information on the results of full-scale experimental tests carried out on different innovative seismic upgrading techniques based on the use of yielding steel components. Namely, cyclic tests have been carried out on real RC structures equipped with the following types of braces and shear walls: (1) steel eccentric braces; (2) steel buckling restrained braces; (3) steel and aluminum shear panel. The results of the experimental and numerical analysis research are summarized, highlighting the significant contribution of this research to the development of seismic upgrading techniques.
