Abstract
Both (−)doxazosin and (±)doxazosin inhibit the prostatic hyperplasia induced by testosterone propionate in castrated rats. The induction of prostate cell apoptosis might be one of the mechanisms underlying the therapeutic role of (−)doxazosin.
