Abstract
This second part of the venous insufficiency consensus document focuses on chronic venous insufficiency and its diagnosis with doppler ultrasound. The investigation techniques are reviewed, commenting on the different information that each one of them can provide. The information from the exploration technique is divided into an anatomy part and a hemodynamic part. Finally, a current review is presented on the different types of veno-venous shunt, which prevents the fractionation of the blood column on walking (dynamic fractionating of the hydrostatic pressure column deficiency).
