Abstract
As recommended in the literature that was consulted, the endovascular treatment of venous lesions is effective in increasing survival of vascular accesses for haemodialysis with an appropriate indication. The use of stents is indicated in large central venous trunks, with a patency that is higher than that ofpercutaneous transluminal angioplasty.
