RésuméLa prise en charge préhospitalière de l’infarctus avec sus-décalage de ST est une question complexe. De nombreux maillons interviennent, depuis l’information du patient jusqu’à l’orientation des malades, en passant par la régulation du 15, l’étape diagnostique, le choix du traitement de reperfusion et le choix des traitements adjuvants. C’est par une intégration optimale de ces différentes composantes que la qualité de la prise en charge a pu progresser de façon spectaculaire au cours des dernières années.

Many components are involved, beginning with information of the public on the symptoms of heart attack, up to the choice of the final pathway and destination of the patients, with many intermediate steps including the regulation of emergency calls, the implementation of optimal diagnostic strategies, the choice of reperfusion therapy and of adjuvant medications. In recent years, optimization of these different components has led to improved patients’ outcomes in this still life-threatening condition.
