Abstract
In our experience TAR and CAM were associated with similar hospital mortality and morbidity rates. Nevertheless, the more extensive arch interventions were not protective for long-term survival and freedom from aortic re-intervention. Thus, in TAAD patients TARÂ remains indicated by site of intimal tear and patient-specific factors.
