Abstract
Lymphangioma of the esophagus is an extremely rare submucosal benign tumor. Most esophageal lymphangiomas reported in the literature are smaller than 2 cm in diameter and can be removed using endoscopy. We report a case of lymphangioma of the esophagus with 2 huge lesions (10 Ã 2.5 Ã 1 cm and 6 Ã 5 Ã 4 cm) that were completely resected by open thoracotomy and enucleation. The patient recovered without any complications.
