Abstract
Patients with combined mitral regurgitation due to myxomatous degeneration and bicuspid aortic valve disease who require operations often have a large, prolapsing anterior leaflet of the mitral valve and dilated aortic annulus with aortic insufficiency due to cusp prolapse.
