Abstract
Surgical resection of locally advanced stage IIIA and IIIB nonsmall-cell lung cancer after induction hyperfractionated radiation and concurrent chemotherapy is safe and well tolerated. Whether this approach is superior to less aggressive therapy is uncertain and will require comparative studies.
