Abstract
Fiberoptic cardioscopy is a novel approach that allows for visualization of the structures within a nonarrested heart on bypass. It lays the groundwork for a platform that could lead to more successful percutaneous valvular and intracardiac procedures in a stable hemodynamic environment.
