Abstract
We conclude that radical nephrectomy and tumor thrombectomy in patients with level IV thrombi can be safely performed with cardiopulmonary bypass, mild hypothermia. and intermittent supraceliac abdominal aortic occlusion, avoiding potential hematologic, hepatic, renal, neurologic, and septic complications associated with circulatory arrest.
