Abstract
The results of the present rabbit study suggest that concurrent temporary visceral ischemia does not aggravate spinal cord ischemic injury in the rabbit. Moreover, the results suggest that concurrent visceral ischemia may increase the tolerance of the spinal cord to ischemic damage.
