Abstract
Little is known regarding the consequences of bifurcation patency loss after failed crossover superficial femoral artery (SFA) stenting. We report on 2 cases concerning patients presenting with acute and chronic symptoms of critical limb ischemia after failed crossover SFA stenting and undergoing open surgical repair. We discuss the risk and management of failed crossover SFA stenting.
