Abstract
Ventricular arrhythmias occurring in the setting of anger are more likely pause dependent and polymorphic. This suggests that in predisposed populations anger may create an arrhythmogenic substrate susceptible to more disorganized rhythms, a possible mechanism linking emotion and sudden death.
