Abstract
Younger age, shorter history of heart failure, and less interstitial fibrosis were effective predictors of weaning from LVAS. Restoration of natural heart function was more rapid and more persistent in candidates for LVAS explantation, and presence of β-blocker played a prominent role in improving cardiac function after LVAS implantation.
