Abstract
Torsades de pointes is ventricular tachycardia due to prolongation of the heart rate-corrected QT interval (QTc). It is caused by multiple factors. Here we present a case of self terminating torsades de pointes due to antipsychotic drug Flupenthixol in a permanently paced patient at slow heart rate who developed torsades de pointes only after one episode of loose stool.
