Aortic arch reoperations, although technically demanding, can produce acceptable results. Preoperative pulmonary disease, CPB time, and concomitant coronary artery bypass predicted an adverse outcome. The CPB time predicted mortality, and previous thoracoabdominal aortic surgery predicted stroke.
