Abstract
This is the first study demonstrating that monitoring of aEEG and NIRS to measure cerebral activity and oxygenation during immediate postpartum transition is feasible. During transition compromised neonates requiring resuscitation showed a different cerebral activity pattern compared to uncompromised neonates.
