Abstract
SummaryThe article describes the feature of Poland's emergency medicine services system. Pre-hospital emergency medical service (EMS) access, regional differences and the main features of the system are described. EMS personal education and skill level are discussed. The authors offer a critical analysis of the current situation and proposal for the future development of emergency medicine in Poland based on changes in law, organization and education.
