Abstract
The importance of solar cell/module operating temperature for the electrical performance of silicon-based photovoltaic installations is briefly discussed. Suitable tabulations are given for most of the explicit and implicit correlations found in the literature which link this temperature with standard weather variables and material/system-dependent properties, in an effort to facilitate the modeling/design process in this very promising area of renewable energy applications.
