Abstract
•Atypical spinal TB is subject to diagnosis delays and even errors.•The diagnosis of spinal TB emerges from strong clinical analysis.•Differential diagnosis of the obscure spinal lesion should include tuberculosis.•We reported a case of atypical spinal TB for facilitating an early diagnosis.
