Abstract
⺠Segment compressive load minimally modulates the soleus H-reflex response in individuals with chronic SCI. ⺠Diminished spinal reflex modulation to compressive load is associated with a loss of post activation depression in a reorganized spinal cord. ⺠Findings raise a question as to whether compressive load can influence spinal neuronal reorganization from the acute to the chronic state after SCI.
