Feasibility of automated warning in subjects with localization-related epilepsies

►The latency from electrographic onset to onset of impairment of responsiveness in localization-related seizures has not been measured. ►By use of an automated seizure-triggered complex reaction time test, this latency was measured to be 27.1-56.1 seconds. ►If confirmed in larger studies, these results justify development of a device for automated warning. Said device will decrease risk of injuries and improve quality of life.
