Abstract
Parenchymal neurocysticercosis may have a relapsing course over many years despite well conducted antiparasitic treatment. We report a case in which relapses were observed over a period of nearly 20 years. Recent literature about the natural history and treatment options in neurocysticercosis is reviewed and the latest treatment recommendations are outlined.
