Abstract
The results of theoretical, numerical and experimental research on the stability and free vibrations of 3-elements planar frame (T-type frame) loaded by longitudinal force in relation to its bolt are presented in the paper. The equations of motion and boundary conditions of the considered system are determined on the basis of Hamilton's principle. The loading of bolt of the frame is applied by the head realising Euler's load. A range of critical load and the course of changes of natural frequency in relation to external load for established geometry and physical constants of the system is determined taking into account hinged mounting of the bolts of the frame and elastic mounting of a post of the frame.
