ResumenPlanteamientoEn esta consulta dirigida a expertos se planteó a los terapeutas qué indicaciones consideraban más importantes para la acupuntura YNSA y qué experiencias clínicas podían compartir al respecto.MétodoSe les pidió a 42 médicos de todo el mundo con experiencia concreta en YNSA que respondieran a 11 preguntas acerca de sus experiencias con dicha técnica en cuanto a indicaciones, diagnóstico abdominal y del cuello, puntos utilizados, fenómenos inmediatos, preferencias personales, bibliografía, estudios y ejemplos clínicos de su propia práctica médica. Se recibieron 29 respuestas.ResultadosLos expertos coinciden en utilizar la acupuntura YNSA eficazmente para dolores del sistema locomotor, cuadros neurológicos, cuadros de medicina interna, tratamiento del dolor y muchas otras afecciones.Los 29 terapeutas utilizan el diagnóstico abdominal y del cuello de la YNSA. Todos ellos han podido observar fenómenos inmediatos (en segundos) al trabajar con la YNSA. Los expertos destacan en sus respuestas los rápidos y fiables efectos que consigue este tipo de acupuntura. Los puntos básicos son los más utilizados en la acupuntura YNSA. Catorce expertos observaron efectos adversos y siete de ellos contraindicaciones.DiscusiónLos diferentes terapeutas, aunque tienen preferencias muy dispares en cuanto a los puntos y somatotopos utilizados, obtienen unos resultados terapéuticos satisfactorios prácticamente coincidentes. Los fenómenos inmediatos a menudo observados y los satisfactorios y fiables resultados terapéuticos están estrechamente relacionados con el uso del diagnóstico abdominal y del cuello. Con los puntos diagnósticos se puede comprobar la colocación correcta de las agujas según los puntos básicos, Ypsilon, craneales y de los nervios cerebrales. Como los puntos terapéuticos se pueden hallar casi siempre con facilidad por el considerable dolor a la presión, la YNSA está asociada a un examen muy meticuloso, a una cuidadosa búsqueda de los puntos y a un contacto estrecho con el paciente.ConclusionesLos expertos destacan en sus respuestas los rápidos y fiables efectos que consigue la YNSA. La acupuntura YNSA debería experimentar una difusión global en el campo de la medicina integradora. Se necesitan más y más amplios estudios sobre la eficacia de la YNSA.

ObjectiveIn this survey of experts, therapists were asked which indication for YNSA they regarded as the most important, and were also asked to share their clinical experience with this method.MethodForty-two physicians from all over the world with special experience in applying YNSA were asked to respond to 11 questions with respect to their experience with YNSA concerning indications, neck/abdominal diagnosis, choice of acupuncture points, Huneke phenomena, personal preferences, literature, studies and case studies from their own practice. 29 therapists responded.ResultsThe experts were in agreement in reporting that they had successfully applied YNSA for pain of the locomotor system, neurological syndromes, internal syndromes, for the relief of pain and for many other illnesses. YNSA abdominal diagnostics and neck diagnostics are regularly applied by the 29 YNSA therapists. All therapists observed Huneke phenomena in their work with YNSA. The experts’ responses emphasized the rapid and reliable action of YNSA. The basal points are the generally preferred points for YNSA. Side effects were observed by fourteen experts. Seven therapists identified contraindications for YNSA.DiscussionIn spite of the very different preferences with respect to the points and somatotopes used, the various therapists reached almost complete agreement on the good results of the treatment. The frequently observed Huneke phenomena, and the rapid and reliable results of treatment are closely related to the use of abdominal and neck diagnosis, which are at the heart of YNSA. These diagnostic points enable the therapist to check the correct position of the needles with respect to basal points, Y points, brain and cranial nerve points. Since the therapy points can generally be located rapidly and reliably by considerable tenderness to pressure, the application of YNSA requires a very precise examination, a careful search for the points and a close exchange of information with the patient.ConclusionsThe rapid and reliable effect of YNSA is emphasized in the experts’ responses. YNSA should find global application in integrative medicine. Further and more extensive studies on the effectiveness of YNSA are both necessary and desirable.
