Abstract
The author reports on the treatment of acupuncture-points with ballistic shockwaves. Different methods of producing shockwaves for medical use are explained. In four examples the author describes the treatment of mild forms of asthma. In all four cases this treatment was very successful. The possible reasons for its success are discussed.
