El entramado psicofísico del ser humano

ResumenLa cuestión de las relaciones entre cuerpo y espíritu atraviesa la medicina desde siempre, y la idea que se defiende aquí es que no son 2 entidades independientes sino 2 entidades que se han entretejido juntas desde el nacimiento. A través de los conceptos de “cuerpo vivido” y “psique encarnada” se pueden comprender las modalidades físicas de los síntomas mentales y viceversa, que a menudo encontramos descritas en los síntomas de la materia médica. La comprensión de cómo se genera este entramado psicofísico nos abre a la comprensión de cómo puede generarse un estado Arsenicum, Anacardium o Hyosciamus.

The question of the mind-body relationship has been present throughout the history of medicine. In this article I defend the idea that the mind and body are not two different and separate entities but are interwoven together from birth. The concepts of “lived body” and “embodied mind” can elucidate the physical modalities of mental symptoms -and vice versa – as often described in the symptoms of homeopathic materia medica. An understanding of how this interweaving between mind and body is produced helps to elucidate how the states of Arsenicum, Anacardium, Hyoscyamus, etc. are generated.
