Abstract
As observational studies suggest, the homeopathic treatment of asthma, given most often as a complementary treatment, can lead to a modification of the bronchodilator and anti-inflammatory treatment. It is based on an asthma attack treatment and in particular a primary therapy centred on four main medicines (Antimonium tartaricum, Arsenicum album, Ipeca, Kalium carbonicum), completed by other symptomatic and terrain therapies, as well as Poumon histamine, used to regulate the allergic reaction. Immunotherapy can also be used or, depending on the case, isotherapy in high dilutions, the effects of which seem different to those of sublingual immunotherapy. The treatment is adapted depending on the level of control of the asthma, with objective monitoring of the respiratory function.
