Abstract
Emotions are often identified as “psychosomatic” reactions. In practice, this approximation merits a clearer definition. It is worth giving more precise content to the term psychosomatic in its relationship with emotion. Brought into the context of homeopathic medicine, the objective here is to show on what methodological bases research is undertaken in this field. The issue of the compatibility of this research with the demands of evidence-based medicine (EBM) is raised.
