Abstract
In Calcutta, Drs. Pratip Banerji and Prasanta Banerji announce that, between 1990 and 2005, they treated more than 20,000 cancer patients the vast majority of them with homeopathic medicines only. They report good therapeutic results in nearly 40% of patients. In this study, the author wanted to further verify these figures and the scientific value of what we know today as the Banerji protocols. Could homeopathy be a potential cancer therapy? The answer is no. The lack of randomised clinical trial does not warrant offering homeopathy as an alternative to proven conventional cancer therapies.
