Abstract
Over the last 20 years, knowledge of Alzheimer's disease has grown, improving understanding. However, despite considerable research, this knowledge has not yet resulted in any real form of treatment. Recent studies into Alzheimer's disease, highlight several properties of the living matter (plasticity, reactivity, reversibility, activity at very small doses of substances associated with the disease, inversion of effect according to the dose, etc.) on which homeopathy is based, which makes examination of its possible contribution worthwhile. In particular, the Hahnemann dilution-succussion process, by enabling the substances involved in the disease's physiopathological process to be targeted in a very selective way and with appropriate dilutions, opens up a potentially promising area for research into and treatment of Alzheimer's disease.
