Abstract
Teratoid cysts in the floor of the mouth are rare. Clinically, they present as slow-growing, non-tender, mass lesions in the sublingual or submandibular area. This report is of a 4-year-old Chinese boy with a teratoid cyst with sublingual mass and submandibular fistula. The cyst was excised and pathologically confirmed to be a teratoid cyst. Postoperative recovery was uneventful with no recurrence.
