Abstract
After the delivered treatment, a statistically significant reduction was observed in pain (p = 0.000) and lesion size (p = 0.000). The results of this pilot study suggest that the application of a hyper- oxidized oil may represent a novel and effective treatment for accelerating the healing process and for pain reduction in traumatic oral mucosal lesions. However, more comprehensive and randomized controlled studies will be necessary to confirm our preliminary findings.
