Abstract
A histopathological examination of the lesion was necessary to achieve the right diagnosis, whereas clinical and radiological evidence of odontogenic myxoma was not confirmatory. The thorough literature review conducted on this topic confirmed that surgery, associated to strict follow-up, proves to be the most appropriate treatment.
