Abstract
All retreatment procedures should be preceded by an accurate case analysis. Adverse anatomical conditions and periapical bone lesions may predict an unfavorable prognosis and should be taken into great consideration. However, in all other clinical conditions, high success rates can be achieved, ensuring a long-term survival of dental elements.
