Abstract
None medications can be considered free of side effects. Many of the adverse drug reactions can affect the oral cavity thus involving the dental practitioner first. The clinician must be able to recognize and treat the possible oral drug complications and before planning any pharmacological treatment he should carefully consider risk factors such as age, sex, medical history, genetic predisposing pattern, previous adverse drug reactions.
