Abstract
Pyogenic granuloma is a benign non-neoplastic mucocutaneous lesion evolving in response to local irritation. In the mouth, the lesion most commonly affects gingiva. This paper is about a pyogenic granuloma of the tongue. Pathogenesis, clinical features and treatment are discussed.
